Oh Allah!

Saya akan tetap berjalan, tanpa henti menuju redha-Nya.

Nak ikut?

un-Seen-able Gift

Have you ever feel as if you are being saved, but the saver (read: hero/warrior) is just not around in person that you don't really get the chance to say how grateful you are to him/her. Well, I feel that way for several times, and I still feel the same today.

Its very irritating when you realize how much you have screwed with your own life. Its like you've reached to a destination that you really don't want to get to. You sighed all day long on how much you wish you could turn back time. Its irony, but its true. Honestly, I hate that kind of feeling though I keep on reaching the same point each and every time.

Somehow,  there's also some magical moment in my life that I couldn't really describe. It feels just like you've been saved by somebody that you couldn't really see. He's not there, but you can feel He's around. You couldn't see the warm smile but you can feel the warm and endless joys of love and serenity. (Can y'all imagine those miraculous momentous just like a scene in a romantic movies?) The scenario/situation is kind of similar, but the feeling is somehow indescribable).

Its even better than getting a bouquet of red roses with cute card attach on it. Its MORE than that, seriously.

Its like, you feel very blessed.

I feel I am  blessed.

It was then I realized that no matter how I messed up with my life, I've got those prayers from all over the world that will guide me when I'm about to do wrong again, and lead my way to the righteous :)
I knew its the gift from the heaven through those prayers that you guys have for me. I don't really know how to make this post more presentable to my real feelings, but I really appreaciate those du'as and love that have been sent my way.

That's the beauty of today. I'm going to cherished it.

 Thank you people!

Let's pray hard, y'all. :)

7 Things....

I can't really figure it out, at least for now, what kind of wife I'm going to be. So, for who-ever-you are, Mr husband to be, this might be relevant. Since I'm not yet anyone's wife,  what harm could it bring if I agree on the author, ey? I'm not being biased, I'm just delighted to second him. His point do make sense, as far as I could see. So, here I'm sharing the secret that shouldn't be kept. This kind of secret, its worth to be spread around! :)

7 Things Your Muslim Wife Won’t Tell You

What’s Going On Under the Hijab?

Last week I wrote an article entitled “7 Things Your Muslim Husband Won’t Tell You.” I thought I was gonna get a lot of complaints about that one, but so far, everyone seems to enjoy it.

Well, if the last article didn’t upset you, perhaps this one will. Actually, I don’t want to upset you. But I do want you to think about things that may not normally cross your mind.

Most men have a hard time understanding women. Even a woman they’ve been married to for years.

One minute she’s perfectly fine. The next, she’s crying like a baby.

She complains about something but when we offer advice on how to fix it, she still isn’t satisfied.

After several years of marriage (and counselling) I’ve learned to not worry so much about what my wife says. Instead, I should worry about what she doesn’t say.

With this information in mind, I’ve put together a quick list of things Muslim men should be aware of when it comes to their wife’s mind.

1. Above All, She Wants Your Love

This harkens back to a post I wrote a couple of months ago called “Love or Respect: Which Do You Prefer?”

In this article I explained that men desire respect from their wives, and women desire love from their husbands.

When a wife shows her husband less respect, he in turn shows her less love.

And when a husband shows his wife less love, she in turn shows him less respect.

And the vicious cycle repeats itself.

Stop this prophecy before it becomes self-fulfilling. Show love to your wife.

That’s what she wants. Love her despite her flaws and quirks.

And Inshallah, she’ll respect you despite your flaws and quirks.

2. She’s Bored

It’s the same thing every day.

Week in and week out.

Not only is she bored but she’s also tired.

She has to care for the kids and run the household and then pamper you.

Just thinking about doing that every day makes me want to crawl under my covers and hide. I can imagine how the average Muslim housewife must feel.

And let’s not forget about working woman. Many Muslim women have to work a full time job as well as hold a house down.

So brothers, I implore you, make your wife feel special. Give her a break.

Take her out sometimes. Surprise her with a surprise meal. Bring her favorite desert home.

Just do something every now and then to break the monotany.

3. She Wants to Be Complimented

Appreciation.

Everybody wants it.

No one wants to feel as if the hard work they do goes unnoticed or even worse, it taken for granted.

Your wife does not have to clean your dirty clothes. And she does not have to cook your meals.

But she does.

And she does that on top of all the other things in her life:

Working or going to school.
Caring for the kids.
Striving to be a better Muslimah.
Show your Muslim wife that you appreciate and are thankful for the things she does to maintain you and your family.

A simple “thank you” is a good start.

4. She’s Insanely Jealous

There’s a reason most women don’t care for polygamy.

Be very careful how you talk about other women around your wife.

I mentioned this in my book “Sex and Islam.” Don’t ever compare your wife to another woman.

Don’t compare her to some female movie star.
Don’t compare her to your mother.
Never, ever compare her to your ex-wife (or other wife!)
She’s wants to know and believe that she is the center of your universe. So make her feel that way.

Even the Prophet’s (pbuh) wives got jealous. Aisha (RA) even got jealous of Khadijah (RA) who was dead.

Expect, and respect, the same type of jealousy from your wife.

5. She Wants You to Help Her Become A Better Muslimah
If you haven’t seen it yet, I encourage you to watch this video I did a couple of weeks ago for Muslim men. In this video I stress the importance of men taking the role of leader within their families.

And that’s the problem with a lot of Muslim men these days.

Not only are they not being good leaders, they’re being led by their wives (or mothers, or other women in their lives).

Your wife desires and wants you to be her leader. And what better way to lead her than to be show her how to be a better Muslimah?

But you can’t show her how to become better if you’re not that great either. Therefore, you have to upgrade your Iman. You have to improve yourself and then pass it on to her in a gentle, respectful way.

6. She Doesn’t Like to Nag, But Sometimes You Make It Hard
It’s a common myth that women like to nag their husbands. That’s not entirely true.

Yes, there are some people (men and women) whom you can never please. No matter what you do, they’ll always find fault in something. Let’s be reminded of the following hadith:

Narrated Ibn ‘Abbas: The Prophet said: “I was shown the Hell-fire and that the majority of its dwellers were women who were ungrateful.” It was asked, “Do they disbelieve in Allah?” (or are they ungrateful to Allah?) He replied, “They are ungrateful to their husbands and are ungrateful for the favors and the good (charitable deeds) done to them. If you have always been good (benevolent) to one of them and then she sees something in you (not of her liking), she will say, ‘I have never received any good from you.”

Sahih Bukhari

So, yes sisters should be careful about denegrating the things your husband does for you.

But very often, you Brother, make it hard for her to hold your tongue.

Perhaps you’re always finding fault with her and she looks for things in your character to get even.

Perhaps you’re not working (or not working hard enough) and she has to work to take up some slack.

Perhaps you’re just not that great of a guy.

Once again, upgrade yourself and give her less reasons to complain and nag.

7. More Than Anything, She Wants a Stable, Happy Relationship With You

Women don’t get married just because they think it’s gonna be fun.

They get married because they want a happy family life and they believe you’re gonna give it to them.

Outside of her religious duties, that’s the most important thing in a Muslim woman’s life. Raising a happy, stable, Muslim family.

The funny thing is, it’s very easy for you to give that to her.

Stop acting like a jerk. Be a good husband to her. Be kind. Show her you love her.
Don’t threaten her with divorce or taking a second wife. Yes, you have the right to do both. But using them as threats is inappropriate and detrimental to your marriage.
Trust in Allah, watch out for the tricks of Shaytan, and be patient with her. There’s nothing Shaytan would love more than to destroy your marriage.
See? That isn’t all that hard, now is it?

From: Laibun Nisa ( Beauty for Muslimas)

I smile ears to ears when I read this. I couldn't agree more. He just right. Nonetheless, I'm not that kind of jerk who'd expect only good things from others while give nothing back. Cause you know, it takes two to tango, right ? ;)

T.T

Its been awhile since I last posted something precious, something good and refreshing here. It'd had always been about feeling, daily chores that I really want to nag at somebody (oh!) and all the cycles that would never end until the day I die, I supposed.

Hence, I decided to pull off all the nasty-miserable part of my life and give the soul a break. Holiday, oh yeah :)

The Cycle of begin and end

Salam and Good Day people :)

Alhamdulillah, we are leaving 2011 (or should I say 2011 is leaving us?) and approaching 2012 with all those hopes and  memories. As for me, those years that I had leave behind are those with 'ibrah and messages, to prepare me for the days ahead. There were tears and laughters all the way along through out those days that I can't erase from my memory. The mixture of  emotions, dreams and reality are well blended that it leaves me with something that I can hold steadfast to. There are times that I laugh out loud with my girls and there are also times that I really need shoulders to cry on. And I did. It's just soo colourful, just like my board now. And ey, I never regret it. Though there are pains that aren't really healing and the journey ahead is not like the primerose  pathway, I'm glad for what I have now and what I used to have. I'm good with my own life, regardless of what other might think about me. I am optimistic about life, yeah, but still looking forward for the days after life.

Handsome Shayan in his blue stripe shirt, posing with Mr Tissue? ^_^

I got this kind of thought once I step out from the car this morning. Apart from looking forward to have a good results from my long-way-to-go experiments, I would want to make my surrounding (labs, colleagues, friends, housemates, teachers, family, adik2 usrah, acquaintances and etc (and oh even the mice *-*) ) happier. Well, happier in a sense that I can at least be someone that they are happy to see, someone that they would miss when I'm gone, and someone that would make them to remind the death and day after life even just by seeing me in a glance (ok, I'm exaggerating :)) but, seriously I am. (Ok, ini azam tahun barukah? Well, this is not the planned one). I've given all these kind of stuff quite sometimes to think of, and I came to such resolution. Well, I may InsyaAllah finish up my masters degree after few years, get marry and settle down, have kids in Allah's will but one more certain and most absolute thing above all is that I'm going to die anyway. Everybody will. No one will escape. But its just a matter of time that involve the questions like when and where and how. Seriously, no one have the answers to all of the questions above, neither am I. Ok, hopefully I didn't sound like I've given up with my life. Believe me, I'm optimistic to face the days ahead. Giving this kind of thing such a thought is just to get me to hold on to the reality while I'm setting the dream I have high up in the sky.

Hee, anyway, I've put some colours on my desk and board, with the smiling stars and moons, just to give some mood. Hopefully it will help soon, in case of I feel so exhausted ( and I think I will)

I Like )

That's it for now. No matter who you are, would you please please make du'a for me, cause i kindda need it. Hope to see you in Jannah soon.

Love,

Khairunnisa Razali.

The Run

Alhamdulillah.

I'm not turning back. Never will I. Never.

For 'thing' that have just happened, please make your move. Don't stay!

And eyy, I found these wise words:

"Wake up with the mindset that today is a new day
A new beginning
Don't dwell on yesterday. Don't dwell on the past.
You can't change things that have already happened.
Accept it. Gain knowledge. Grow. Move forward.
keep your head up and keep marching on.
Today is a new day."
Taken here

Have a good day people :)

* Beautiful ain't it? Nonetheless, jannah is incomparable ;')

If we are hoping for the heaven, it will never works if we stay doing definitely nothing. There are lots to be done, just to gain the eternal rewards. Fastabiqull khairatt, people!
